The Ministry is
under the eldership of Corinth Christian Church. The church has appointed a committee
that reviews and approves applications for occupancy. A preacher
and or/his family may also occupy the ministry as a getaway to have some time away from the world. Priority is given to hurting
brothers whose ministry is in jeopardy. If such a brother needs the cabin, the vacationing occupants will be asked to
vacate with-in 24 hours. If being used as a getaway, you should plan accordingly.
Shechem Ministries consists of seventy-five acres of
land located in Central Kentucky in Anderson County. The 1200 sq. cabin sleeps at least six and is located in the middle
of the property. There is no cost, nor are donations accepted. Occupants
must be ordained preachers in an Independent New Testament Christian Church.
The back porch of the cabin offers a place
for peace and tranquility and overlooks a private nine acre lake steaming with fish. There is over a mile of trails which include prayer stations where the occupants can experience quiet meditation time with the Lord.
